This table was made from a photograph of the original on page 104 of A Winterthur Guide To American Chippendale Furniture: Middle Atlantic And Southern Colonies, by Charles F. Hummel. The inside face of the drawer front is stamped with the name Adam Haines, a Philadelphia cabinet maker who worked from 1788 to 1803.
