An original design - although a few Queen Anne block-front lowboys exist I am unaware of any American serpentine-front specimens. The serpentine facade with blocked drawer ends, cut from a single wide plank for continuous figure, matches a four-drawer chest I previously made that was based upon Albert Sack's New Fine Points of Furniture, p. 95.
