Triple top card table, inspired from a similar card table at CW (design chosen by customer). Primary Material: mahogany; secondary, poplar; checkerboard veneer, mahogany & hard maple; woolen felt baize. Finish: aniline dye, garnett shellac, rubbing varnish. Description: base opens in a concertina style to form a square; sliding card drawer; 4 ponds for playing pieces and 4 candle stick pockets; all inletting for baize, checkerboard and ponds by hand; each top is a single board 18" wide (no glue up) and all three tops came from the same board; all M&T joints cut by hand; finish hand applied.
