This is of my own design borrowing elements from the classical Lowboy style.. The piece is constructed from Walnut and Poplar used as the secondary wood.. I chose to construct the back in a more attractive manner so the piece could be utilized in the middle of the room sceenario. The finish is padded on shellac for the lower section and Antique oil finish for the top.. This piece was my first attempt at hand cut dovetails and cabriole legs.
