This chair is a mahogany reproduction of one that is in the DeWitt Wallace Museum in Williamsburg. There is another one in the Chipstone Collection in the Milwaukee Museum of Art. I started this chair as a class project in 2003 and let it sit until 2020 when I completed it. I reworked all the carvings because what I thought was good years ago didn't look so good to me now. I am glad that I took the extra time to touch things up and I am pleased with the result.
