Beeswing mahogany, crotch cherry, and crotch mahogany veneer. Secondary woods are poplar and tiger maple I first saw this secretary in Home Furniture (7, Summer 1996) and vowed that I would make a reproduction of it. I completed it 12 years later after 700 hours of work over a 9-month period. The beeswing mahogany came from a now-defunct veneer mill in the Knoxville area. There are 13 secret compartments. French polish finish by David Reeves of Oak Ridge, TN.
