Hannah's Line & Berry Chest by Douglas Moulder — view 1

My replica/reproduction of Hannah's Line & Berry Chest. The original was made in 1747 by Moses Pyle, Lancaster Co. PA. Based on photos of original at Winterthur-Museum Object Number 2001.0019, and a Popular Woodworking Magazine (June 2013 #204) article by Glen Huey. Walnut and mahogany inlays were used for floral pattern and berries. Dark walnut epoxy was used for the stringing. The finish is antique tongue oil and paste wax. The solid brass hinges and teardrop pulls are from Horton Brasses.
