The case portion of this project is a Lonnie Bird design and the case was started at his school in class. But, Lonnie's original design call for a straight leg stand that did not fit my taste. So, I designed my own stand with cabriole legs and trifed feet. This was a great first desk project that taught me the basics of gallery construction, fitting a slant top, and carving legs, feet and, shell drawer fronts.
