This clock was inspired by the Lonnie Bird Fine Woodworking series of articles. My father started the project about 15 years ago, but unfortunately did not make much progress beyond getting the basic hood structure complete and rough cut the larger pieces for the base. After his passing, I inherited the partially completed clock and was able to complete it. The walnut came from a tree he harvested from family land in Iowa in the mid 70's. Clock mechanism was purchased from Greenlake Clock Co.
