The table is based on one shown in "Making a Piecrust Tea Table" by Tom Heller & Ron Clarkson, but not an exact copy. The finish is amber shellac, top coated with General Finishes oil & urethane semi-gloss. The hardware, a brass top latch to prevent accidental tilt, is from Horton Brasses.
