Queen Anne Tea Table

Queen Anne Tea Table by Olin Rackley — view 1

The tea table is a reproduction of one found on page 41 of Franklin H. Gottshall's book titled "Making Antique Furniture Reproductions", dated 1971. I chose to make/attach the top edge molding to the upper surface after shaping/carving it. This was probably the most time consuming/interesting aspect of the entire build. The finish is amber shellac plus an oil-and-urethane topcoat. A brass pull from Woodcraft is used on each of the candle slides.
