Queen Anne Dressing Table.

Queen Anne Dressing Table. by Herman Veenendaal — view 1

The piece is based on the example in Norm Vandal's "Queen Anne Furniture" with some slight modifications, specifically the depth of the apron below the drawers, which was reduced in width by 7/8 inch to better conform with photos I have of other examples. The sides are one-piece wide plank cherry. The hardware is from Horton Brasses. The finish is boiled linseed oil, followed by orange shellac, followed by one coat of nitrocellulose laquer.
